Role Statement for Facilities Project Manager II: The principal function of an employee in this class is to manage the planning, design and construction of assigned projects related to City buildings and facilities. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Facilities Management Superintendent, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with City personnel, service and construction contractors, consultants, elected officials, and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment and in the field.
